PIN is pleased to announce the appointment of Ebubechukwu Bruno Nwagbo as the Moderator of PIN Annual Food Poetry Contest (PFPC).
Prior to his appointment, Ebubechukwu has, in the last 6 weeks, worked with PIN as Moderator of Poetic Analysis of PIN Selected Food Poems. While continuing with the reviews of the “food poems”, Nwagbo will administer the annually organized food poetry contest – PFPC. He is expected to make a call for submissions for the new edition of the contest shortly.
Imo-born poet and English Language student of Olabisi Onabanjo University (OOU), Ebubechukwu Bruno Nwagbo is a young talented poet, essayist, speech writer who has received numerous awards and commendations for literary, academic and leadership excellence.He is a radio presenter at OOU 92.1 FM. Bruno is a freelance content developer for brands, media houses and restaurants.
He is the co-editor of Boys Are Not Stones Anthology II—A Country of Broken Boys. An Anthology of boys’ Literature co-edited by John Chizoba Vincent, Jaachi Anyatonwu, Opia-Enwemuche and Ahmed Jamiu.
Some of his works has been published in Brigitte Poirson Poetry Contest (BPPC) Anthologies, where he has been a one time winner and multiple time runner-up.
He is an ardent member of PIN OOU Connect Centre. A PIN Ambassador, Bruno made the Long List of Nigerian Students’ Poetry Prize (NSPP) 2017 and was a judge of the PIN Food Poetry Contest in 2018.
In 2018, he won the Best Creative Student Award (Short Stories Category) during the OOU Knowledge of Language, Literature, And Journalism (KOLLAJ) Festival.

He currently serves as the Academic Secretary and Editor-in-Chief of Anglican Students Fellowship, Olabisi Onabanjo University Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State Nigeria. Bruno loves nature assimilation, culinary escapades and the smell of book and rainfall.
