I FOUND YOU

I FOUND YOU

This is the story of a new found love. The birth of a beautiful romance.

I found you
Where you were waiting
Waiting to be picked
By a passer-by
A passer-by who knows the worth
The worth of your beauty
Your beauty that is of the Carnation
Carnation growing along the roadside.

Indeed, you’re a Carnation
Growing on a thorny bush,
Delicate but affectionate.
I found you on the wait,
Waiting to be plucked
From the thorny bush
On which you lie,
Peacefully but impatiently,
By me, yours.
