She in space unfolds — a river of rigid bruise
against the walls of botheration, scalped like a vermilion,
in a portrait, the sun takes the shape of grief.
Body tucked in the lips of a grime & the scream of seagulls in it plasma
with tears on the strings of an electric guitar.
I swear she has something in common with Jupiter—
the consternative transition of her form: the fire forming
a rainbow from ashes of herself to host a phoenix for the pain.
Girl, remember you are roses. You are forever a concoction of lemonade.
I don’t want to overthink that you are undergoing transition
in the rubicon of depression, if so, I command you to overcome.
I command you to remain invisible from the stem to the tail.
I command you not to be like those modern poets who drew a sword
from the sheath of fe lo de se to brand their names bold enough as suicides.
What I see in you is joy; a collective daffodil that is ingrafted in heaven!
Which is to mean that light has found your part.

I command you to remain strong.
