BEFORE MY PRIME

I want to go back in time,

To days long before my prime,

When nothing was my business,

And my world was calmly at peace,

When nothing mattered than my plate,

How it got filled was never a bother,

All I had to do was eat and be healthy,

I loved the days money matters didn’t matter,

When life was beautiful on a gold platter,

All I talked to was my toys,

And life didn’t have any spoils,

When all that hurts was when Lily left,

Or when Sam moved faraway left,

Tell the boy to live fully,

The man misses him sometimes.
