POEMIFY MAGAZINE ISSUE III: MEMORIES OF TOMORROW BY ADEGITE PRECIOUS

My lips will rise to build a perfect smile, When I see my colourful coat glowing, And my forever world growing.

MEMORIES OF TOMORROW

My lips will rise to build a perfect smile,
When I see my colourful coat glowing,
And my forever world growing.

My lips will rise to build a perfect smile,
When I see it’s taking place,
Yes, my nights of fantasies.

My lips will rise to build a perfect smile,
When I remember.

Days that trouble kept house,
And mockeries were thrown at me,
Days that I wallowed in regrets,
And lived for a reason unknown.

Days that I was happy to forget sorrow,
And was fine to hide my pain,
Days that I wondered,
Is there tomorrow?

My lips will rise to build a perfect smile,
When I remember.

The days that we shared love,
And lived life in joy,
My lips will rise to build a perfect smile,
When I see myself retreading these ways
Of love and joy.

These days will be brought to my thought,
Cause these days are tomorrow memories,
And when I remember,
My lips will rise to build a perfect smile.
